After giving a birth, a woman’s body changes. It’s just what happens. We don’t have to like it, but it happens, whether you see underneath the flowy tops and leggings or not. It can be a scary feeling, not getting your body back to what you’ve known forever — or you just roll with it. Chalk it up to this new human in your life. Who cares what’s going on with your boobs or your stretch marks or that paunchy lower belly shelf that just won’t go away? You made a person!
Chrissy Teigen, who has always been pretty open about her body, just showed us all that no matter how you perceive her, her body isn’t perfect either. And she’s fine with it.
Remember last year when Chrissy posted that pic about her affectionately named “stretchies?”
Well, the supermodel/author/wife of John Legend/mom of Luna’s latest Snapchat gave us an up-close-and-personal look at the stretch marks on her thighs.
“lol my thighs have tributaries,” she joked of the marks, adding a crying emoji. In case you don’t remember, Chrissy posted this shot of herself three weeks after she gave birth to Luna.

Her latest Snapchat pic is sending the message to all those who believe her body hasn’t changed since having Luna four months ago that, actually, it has.
Sure, some might scoff because Chrissy’s a supermodel who seemingly looks exactly how she’s always looked, so who is she to talk about post-baby body struggles? But whether you’re heavy or naturally thin, all women look and feel different after popping out a baby. It may look like small changes, but when it’s your own body those changes feel gigantic. We all just need to stop with the expectations, stop with the judging and accept that everyone is different. And that’s OK. Because it’s totally worth it.
WATCH: Chrissy also opened up about using waist trainers and latex post-baby.
