Another day, another dose of real talk from Chrissy Teigen. The supermodel mom-of-two posted an image on Instagram Tuesday morning and naturally, it’s amazing. The post shows Chrissy getting ready for the day with a pair of makeup artists who were exceptionally thorough in their application of foundation. Like, really thorough.

Teigen is seen leaning back in a chair, her legs splayed open as a member of her beauty squad diligently applies makeup to her lower half. Another makeup artist is shown carefully applying some finishing touches to her face but let’s be real, we’re too busy wondering where that first makeup artist is going to stop and what they’re chatting about while this glorious scene unfolds. Recipes ideas for Chrissy’s next cookbook, maybe, or funny stories about her kids? That’s one way to keep it real. Chrissy herself is in on the joke as usual, captioning the post, “When I was young, makeup was just for the face.” PREACH.

A number of amused celebs added their thoughts to the post including model Tess Holiday who commented, “Same. Motherhood has disrespected my body in ways I never imagined 😒🤣,” and former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky who laughed, “Bahahaha!!!! 😂😂😂 At least you’re still flexible. I can barely touch my toes never mind do this acrobatic move.”

Carson Daly was all of us, simply asking, “What in God’s name is going on here, sister?” and Whitney Cummings won the Internet with her question: “Wait – Is this a home birth?” (Fair question, Whitney.) Even legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell made her feelings known with a series of crying laughing emojis. Honestly, we expect nothing less from Chrissy at this point but we’re still truly delighted every. single. time.

Whatever Chrissy was actually doing today (we assume prepping for a photoshoot or an event), she is redefining working mom and her brand of candidness helps to break down stigmas associated with being a complex woman who wears many hats—and sometimes no pants. Not only is she busy raising daughter Luna and son Miles with hubby John Legend, she’s still a boss in her industry and manages to keep a sense of humour through it all. Instead of pretending she woke up looking like a magazine cover, Chrissy lets us know that there’s some Hollywood magic happening behind the scenes.

Keep it up, mama—and if you could tell us how to achieve that incredible ponytail, that would be cool too.
