While there are many perks that come with being a celebrity, there are also downfalls: no privacy, being followed around by the paparazzi, people knowing your every movement, always having to look your best since someone is always watching and sharing on social media. But back to the perks. Aside from the money and access and general advantages that come with being famous, sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference, like travel for instance.Yes, there are private jets and islands and yachts that only those with connections or excess in the bank will ever enjoy but before all that, there's the not-so-simple task of tackling the actual headaches of travelling. Parking the car or getting dropped off, checking in baggage, going through customs, getting to the airport gate, waiting to board—all things that travellers have to contend with. But if you've ever been at an airport that is typically teeming with celebrities—say, LAX, for instance—but haven't seen too many stars around, there's a reason for that. And Chrissy Teigen is spilling the dirt.A fan tweeted Teigen, asking how celebs travel on planes. "Are you ever just hustling through the airport trying to make it to your gate on time?" @OhhMikee asked. Chrissy revealed there's actually a service celebs pay for that allows them to navigate their way onto a plane—and it involves their very own terminal. And based on the "I know. I know," tacked on to the end of her response, even Chrissy acknowledged the potential backlash she'll likely hear about, based on the extravagance and privilege.[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Chrissy Teigen loves the ‘controlled chaos’ of her life[/video_embed] Clearly this special, members-only terminal is not like a fight club where it can't be talked about—unless Chrissy finds out the hard way and is ousted. Really, though, it makes sense for celebrities who just need to get to their destination in a peaceful, quiet way with no interruptions, no hassles and, most importantly, no eager selfie seekers. The existence of secret terminal shouldn't be that shocking since there are a number of expedited travel option memberships for non-famous frequent travellers who pay to be able to jump the line or spend time in a lounge before heading to the plane so when it comes to those with the means, pushing that concept to the extreme sounds about right.Though Teigen didn't mention what the terminal by name, she's likely referring to The Private Suite at LAX, a fancy, paparazzi-free terminal that opened up in 2017. Located on the perimeter of the airport, it has its own TSA as well as customs and immigration screening, and what arguably might be the best part, no lines. Once they're past the gated entrance, famous and privacy-seeking passengers are escorted to their own fully provisioned suite complete with a stocked food pantry, private bathroom, two-person daybed, runway view and on-call attendant. The rates are actually pretty reasonable—for a millionaire celebrity—and it gets famous travellers through the airport without the stress and unpredictability that can come with flying. An annual membership fee is $4,500, with each domestic one-way flight costing an additional $2,700, while an international one-way is $3,000. But can you really put a price on being able to walk those 70 "peaceful footsteps" from The Private Suite to plane seat. But Chrissy has her limits and flying private with a $300K price tag, is where she draws the line on comfortable travel.[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Chrissy Teigen thanks her babies for ‘making me a mommy’[/video_embed]
