Chrissy Teigen isn’t one to stay quiet about, well, anything. She’s opened up about parenting and postpartum depression, spoke her truth about going grey and has talked at length about her stretch marks. In a recent discussion with Refinery29, the 32-year-old mother of one (about to be two!) elaborated on her philosophy as it pertains to her “stretchies,” and dropped the name of a certain cream she swears by.

Her millions of social media fans know the former Sports Illustrated Swimwear model keeps it real — she’s posted images of her stretch marks in the past.

But loving your whole self doesn’t mean you don’t want to play some defense, so to speak, especially if you’re susceptible to a particular issue.

“I’m from a real stretch mark-prone family,” Teigen told Refinery29. “I had stretch marks way before the baby. Mine went to my inner thighs for some reason — my thighs just got really angry one year.”

To avoid such “anger” on her belly during the later months of her pregnancy, Teigen leverages a brand that she’s trusted for years and that, conveniently, ships her the stuff for free: Lumière and their Serum Concentrate.

“I use their concentrate on my belly, especially around the sides because you never know where stretch marks are going to pop up. The only place I don’t have stretch marks on my body is my belly. The other places that have them are from regular wear and tear of my body.”

The cream retails for $109, and offers a laundry list of reasons it’s worth splurging on — it firms, brightens and smooths, delays aging skin, promotes collagen, reduces wrinkles and lines, feeds starving children… err. But, look, if it has Chrissy’s stamp of approval, than it’s probably worth every penny.

But after all the cream has been washed off, there will inevitably be some stretch marks on most women, and many men as well.

“People are so worried and so self-conscious of them, but I’ve never seen a woman without them,” says Teigen. “I’ve worked with every supermodel in the world. I’m lucky to know that the most incredibly beautiful women all have stretch marks and all have the butt dimples. It really is our common bond.”

Even the most beautiful of beautiful supermodels have stretch marks and butt dimples? Okay, day made, Chrissy.
