Jamie Dornan, the actor who plays Christian Grey in the 50 Shades of Grey films, isn’t such a big fan of the character Christian Grey.
The 34-year-old Irish actor told GQ Austraila that Christian Grey, if he were real, wouldn’t be one of his buddies.
“He’s not the sort of bloke I’d get along with,” he said in the cover-story interview. “All my mates are easy going and quick to laugh—I wouldn’t imagine myself sat in a pub with him. I don’t think he would be my type, when it comes to choosing mates.”
Harsh, bro! Okay, so it isn’t all that surprising—there’s a pretty good chance that most of the men in your life share this sentiment. But not only does Dornan not consider the character he plays friend material, but he doesn’t get his sexual proclivities either.
“It doesn’t float my boat,” he told GQ Australia of his views on S&M. “I’ve always been open-minded and liberal—I’d never judge anyone’s sexual preference. Whatever gets people off is entirely up to them and there’s a million different ways to please yourself, sexually.”
The father of two knows what he wants, and it’s not that 50 Shades freaky stuff.
But that’s not to say that his fans don’t absolutely adore him as Christian Grey. There’s so much love for the actor and the character he portrays.

Despite Dornan’s dislike for Mr Grey, we just know that the theatres will be packed on February 14 when the latest flick debuts. See you there?
