Wendy’s, home of the fresh, square hamburger as well as the hottest fast food Twitter account, just got even more cool points. Some magical person on Twitter shared a groovy training video from the ’80s, and if you thought Wendy’s was just coming into its own now, think again. Really, the fast food chain has already got a lot going for itself.

If you didn’t think there was much to filling up a soft drink, the catchy song in the video below will change your mind. It takes a certain level of finesse to get just the right amount of ice and pop, and it’s so much more intricate than anyone could have ever imagined.
Looks like you’re ready to serve some cold drinks.

And if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find more of their vintage training videos. Because cold drinks? Pfft. That’s easy. Hot drinks, on the other hand, is a whole other level of complex.
There’s just so much goodness packed into these videos.
Then there’s the chili and the Frosty, which is pretty much why people go to Wendy’s in the first place.
Ever been curious about what goes down at the Wendy’s grilling station? Well, according to the video below — which also includes a clip from Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy’s — working the grill is way cooler than a desk job. If you want to skip ahead to the music video, it starts four minutes in.
All the songs have funky-fresh beats, and the videos’ lighting is straight out of a B-list horror movie. But with their clever, memorable lyrics, it’s clear that Wendy’s has been hip for a long, long time. So are you hip enough to work there? As long as you know the difference between a half-inch and a quarter-inch when filling a bowl with chili, and have a great smile, you could be the perfect candidate.
