A Taco Bell social media marketing campaign has done its job and gone viral. The Taco Bell Love and Tacos contest, which the brand announced on Valentine’s Day, asked couples to send in short videos demonstrating why they should be the lucky pair to get get a sweet 6-day trip to Las Vegas, complete with a wedding at the Taco Bell Cantina flagship location.

Many people groaned and rolled their eyes–maybe they should stick to making delish Doritos-wrapped gorditas and fries supreme, and leave the uniting of people in holy matrimony to the professionals…not the taco professionals. A Taco Bell chapel? Really?

But, people entered the contest, a winner was voted for, and guess what; they got married at Taco Bell in Las Vegas as planned, and it was actually pretty beautiful.

The winning couple, Dan Ryckert and Bianca Monda, beat out over 150 submissions, including one woman who fashioned a pretty impressive mock wedding dress out of the brand’s bags and wrappers.

Their entry video was funny and cute, and more importantly, showcased Dan’s fanboy dedication to the brand, including all the times he’d tweeted the “good word,” and the time they went to a Taco Bell location on the beach in Pacifica, California, for his 32nd birthday. The man is a true fan, and the rightful first Taco Bell Groom.

Their wedding package included airfare for six to Vegas, a Taco Bell catered dinner at the Cantina (obviously), a room at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, Taco Bell t-shirts, champagne flutes, bow tie and garter (because swag!), and more Vegas-y stuff.

Bianca and Dan’s special day may have seemed a little cheesy (or “corny” if you want an alternative taco pun) running up to it, but the event itself looked classy, loving and fun, like all the best weddings are.

If you want to do it too (minus all the contest winnings), head on over to Taco Bell. And congrats!
