Sure, you could spend weeks thinking about your costume, days pulling it all together, and then, in a few short hours, it’s all over, and your carriage turns back into a pumpkin. Or, you could spend five minutes doing your makeup, freak your friends’ and family’s freak all night long and cherish the look of terror in their eyes forever and ever. (Personally, we like the sound of option B.)

Enter Much Digital Studios creator Camille Co. We challenged the beauty vlogger to come up with some creepy concepts that anybody can pull off in under five minutes flat—even with little-to-no experience. And, boy, did she deliver: All three of these ideas make it look like you spent some serious time in front of the mirror, even though you’ll be done and done in less time than it takes to devour a bag of mini Snickers.

Just-creepy-enough stitched mouth

This versatile look will instantly spookify any ol’ outfit. (Tim Burton would approve.) Bonus: You probably have most of the stuff you need in your makeup bag already.

Fear factor: It won’t totally terrify the little ones but it’ll still earn you some creepy cred.

Smile! You’re a zombie

This looks totally badass, but the only pain you’ll feel is the sting of envy from everyone who sees your amazing makeup job.

Fear factor: It’s like Fear the Walking Dead: Scary, sure, but you can still hold it together.

Guts, gore and brains galore

Be afraid, but not too afraid: Even if you haven’t worked with latex before, you’ll be able to master this frighteningly easy look. It’s the perfect blend of scary and just the right amount of “ew…”

Fear Factor: Okay, the zombie apocalypse has officially arrived. RICK, WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?
