Looks like whatever happened in Vegas, will stay in Vegas.
Irish resident Joe Griffin recently took a trip to Sin City with his wife. But in order to make sure they had plenty of mementos to show their family when they returned, Griffin borrowed his son’s GoPro camera.
“I did not, however, instruct him to use it, so my dad being my dad, and a culchie, didn’t know which way to point the f–king thing…,” his son Evan wrote on Facebook.
As a result, Joe did what only a dad could do: he literally recorded his entire vacation with the camera pointed backwards. All you can actually see is the dad’s face as he narrates what you should be looking at.
“That’s the view looking down,” Joe says, with the camera pointed firmly upwards. “That there is the Trump Tower; same colour as his hair.”
The only time Joe actually gets it right, is when he turns the camera around to say “We’re going on a monorail,” as if he believes he’s talking into the lens.
But Joe’s dad-like ways didn’t end there, according to what Evan told an Irish website fittingly titled “Joe.ie.”
“All the footage is only from the first day ’cause my dad later took it swimming without the waterproof case and fried it so missed out on the Grand Canyon and everything, haha,” he said.
The video has so far racked up more than 4 million views on YouTube. You can check it out for yourself, above.
