That’s one small step for mammal, one giant leap for raccoon kind.

A four-legged critter managed to scale a 200 meter crane in Toronto, and looked pretty terrified as it clung to the ladder. The raccoon was spotted by tower crane operator Rob Mac, who’s known for posting skyline photos of the city on social media.

At first, he thought his new furry little friend was cute.

Then reality set in…

The wide-eyed rodent was found on the counter jib of the crane. Or, for those of us not in the construction industry, the part of the crane that carries a counterweight.

But what happened to the raccoon, you ask? Mac says it managed to climb back down safely and is “long gone.”

Stick with the dumpsters next time, kiddo.
