It must be tough for those who have super-famous parents, especially if they don’t want the attention that comes with fame. But there are some kids who quite like the spotlight and use it to their advantage. Take Cruz Beckham, for instance. The 11-year-old loves and wants to pursue singing. Whether there’s a bit of nepotism involved or David and Victoria‘s youngest son really does have a gift, he’s ready to take on the music world, just like his mom.
Cruz just released his first single, hot on the heels of news that he signed with manager Scooter Braun. ICYDK who Braun is, he’s the man responsible for giving us Justin Bieber — the singer many were comparing Cruz to a few months back when a proud Victoria posted a video to Instagram of her son singing.
Well, that was then, this is now and young Beckham’s just-dropped “If Every Day Was Christmas,” a catchy, twinkly holiday track. It definitely sounds like it’s coming from an 11-year-old, which makes it all innocent and fun and hard to hate, in case that was one’s inclination.
Needless to say, his parents are proud. David posted this, proudly promoting his son’s work and general awesomeness.
The best part about all this? That all proceeds from Cruz’s single will go to the foundation Global’s Make Some Noise. That’s right, Cruz might love to sing and make music, but he also likes to give back. Nothing to complain about there.
