David Beckham has modeled in his underwear, he’s created a capsule collection with Belstaff, he’s in the fragrance business, and he’s a father, a husband and ex-pro soccer player. Now he’s an actor, starring alongside Cathy Moriarty (Soapdish, Casper), Katherine Waterston (Steve Jobs, Inherent Vice) and Harvey Keitel (Taxi Driver, Mean Streets, Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs) in a short film titled Outlaws. The short fashion film is for the brand Belstaff, and it’s produced by none other than Liv Tyler. As for the director? It’s Geremy Jasper. You might not know him by name, but he’s responsible for some pretty gorgeous work (see this video for proof).

As for Becks’ debut as a thespian, the trailer sees the handsome and tattooed British slab of beef riding on a motorcycle. It’s equal parts James Dean and Evel Knievel, but it’s the setting that will captivate you most. First, you see a bearded lady, followed by an assortment of “freak show” circus performers. It’s dark and gritty, and a little spooky, which aren’t really words you’d commonly associate with ol’ Beckham.

But this is just the tease. In order to see the entire film, you need to register at the website. And once September 22 comes around, you’ll have access. And it looks pretty darn good, to be honest.
