If you’re currently battling the Monday blues, this new David Hasselhoff music video will most likely cure you. Prepare to experience either some side-splitting ’80s throwback awesomeness or the realization that no day of the week is quite as terrible as the four minutes of film that awaits you.

The Hoff just released “True Survivor,” a music video to match the theme song he recorded for the upcoming Kickstarter funded kung fu sci-fi comedy Kung Fury, and boy is it a doozy.

Channeling the spirit of the new ’80s spoof action film about a kung fu fighting renegade cop who goes back in time to kill Hitler (seriously), the Hoff’s video is just as amazingly terrible. Cut in between hilarious footage from the movie, the Hoff is seen bringing justice to street punks, escaping car explosions and passionately singing and posing in front of a white corvette while wearing cut off leather gloves. Vintage Hoff.

Despite Kung Fury piling up a ton of internet buzz and a million dollars in fan funding, there’s a good chance “True Surivior” could now outshine the film with its painfully cheesy brilliance. It’s so good!

Get ready to make your day way better. Thanks Hoff!
