Actor Jennifer Lawrence and writer-director Adam McKay are assembling what appears to be one of the greatest casts of all time for their upcoming comedy

Did we miss anyone? Oh yes, Leonardo DiCaprio is expected to star opposite Lawrence as the other main character in the film. Come. On.Between Streep, Blanchett, Lawrence and DiCaprio, this film has a combined seven Oscars for acting and many, many, many more nominations. Don’t Look Up will follow two low-level astronomers (Lawrence and DiCaprio) who embark on a media tour to warn mankind of an approaching asteroid that will destroy Earth. The star packed film will be produced by Netflix and McKay will write the script, direct and produce the film along with fellow producer Kevin Messick. McKay has previously received Oscar nominations for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, winning in 2016 with his Best Adapted Screenplay for
The Big Short.
Don’t Look Up will act as a reunion for DiCaprio and some of his famous costars. Most recently, DiCaprio shared the screen with Hill for 2013’s
The Wolf of Wall Street, a film that earned Oscar nominations for both men. As for DiCaprio and Streep, it has been more than two decades since the pair starred as mother and son in the 1996 drama
Marvin’s Room.The film also includes some surprising cast additions, including
Friends star Matthew Perry, who has not appeared in a feature film since 2009’s
17 Again. Then there’s Grammy winner Ariana Grande, who is best known for dominating the charts, not the box office. Grande does have acting experience from her early days on
Victorious. Her past appearances on SNL have also shown that the pop singer has excellent comedic timing and a gift for impressions. McKay has previously featured pop stars in his films, including
