Diddy’s birthday included reunions between Jay-Z and Kanye, Kylie and Tyga

Diddy celebrated his 50^th birthday this weekend and threw himself a star-studded party that brought together some of the biggest names in music and entertainment. It also included several reunions that were months and years in the making. The countdown to Watch The Throne Pt 2 is officially back on.Diddy’s birthday party was packed with his family, including his mother Janice and five children, as well as his famous friends, including Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z, who was photographed embracing his former friend and musical partner Kanye West. The two men haven’t been photographed together since 2016 after West publicly criticized the couple’s lack of support for West and his family following wife Kim Kardashian’s robbery in a Paris hotel. West has also publicly admitted he was hurt Beyoncé and Jay-Z didn’t attend the couple’s 2014 wedding, which took place while Beyoncé and Jay-Z were dealing with issues in their marriage. In 2018, Jay-Z told David Letterman that the men had gone through a falling out, but were ‘brothers’ for life.

Diddy shared a gallery from his star-studded birthday party on Sunday, which included official portraits of his famous guests, including West and Kardashian, as well as Mary J. Blige, Chadwick Boseman, Cardi B and Offset, Usher, Lizzo, Snoop Dogg, Jaden Smith, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. “Last night was one of those nights I’ll never forget. But something that sticks out to me is what my young creative @kaito put together with @vanityfair,” wrote Diddy. “All I can say is wow!! I’ve watched you grow from just a photographer to someone who captures beautiful art. Looking at these images makes me so proud. Thank you King! #DIDDY50 and thank you @natmoar”

Jenner, who attended the party with mom Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble, also had her own reunion with ex-boyfriend Tyga. The rapper was in attendance and posted pictures with Post Malone and friends. Jenner’s ex-boyfriend Travis Scott, with whom she shares her daughter Stormi, was also at Diddy’s party, as was sister Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Ray J. So yeah, it was a fun party, but also really uncomfortable.

The rapper, producer, actor and businessman turned 50 on November 4, but Diddy, real name Sean Combs, delayed his birthday celebrations to coincide with the birthday of his late ex-girlfriend Kim Porter. Diddy and Porter were together on and off from 1994 until 2007 and had four children together, including Porter’s son Quincy from a previous relationship whom Diddy adopted. Porter died of pneumonia in November 2018 and would have celebrated her 49th birthday on December 15 this year.
