Twitter can be a place filled with bots, faceless bullies, and terrible, terrible grammar. But it can also be a place where amazing things happen. One of the recent amazing things was an exchange between Dionne Warwick and Chance the Rapper, which has now led to the pair teaming up together in the studio to release a new single for charity. How many times can we type the word ‘amazing’ in 280 characters?

On December 5, six-time Grammy winner Dionne Warwick made it known that artists with ‘the’ in their name should say a little prayer, because she was coming for them.

Warwick tweeted that she was a fan of the new collaboration between Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper, but she still had a few questions about the Chicago native's stage name.

As for Chance, real name Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, he responded appropriately to the news that the great Dionne Warwick knew any of his names. Warwick, who continues to be the coolest, used the opportunity to suggest the collaboration between the two.

Thanks to their super-sweet Twitter exchange, Warwick and Chance are now coming together for the singer’s 80th birthday to release the new song “Nothing’s Impossible,” which will support the Hunger Not Impossible initiative. Intergenerational musical superstars, birthdays and charity? You know what 2020, sometimes you’re all right.

The new song will be produced by Warwick’s son, music producer Damon Elliott. "My Mom and I had a moment to speak with Chance after she Tweeted him about the word "The" in his name," said Elliott in a statement. "They had such an amazing conversation that led to them discussing the Hunger Not Impossible initiative (www.notimpossible.com) - they'll receive portions of proceeds from her upcoming 80th birthday/holiday celebration which will be streamed live on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7 pm EST. The result of our conversation with Chance is this new single we'll be recording soon and we're all looking forward to this collaboration."

If the pair are looking to turn their new single into a group effort, we know a few more artists they can add to the recording.

Fans of Warwick are invited to virtually attend her 80th birthday on Saturday, December 12. Warwick, who up until this month was best known for her multiple Grammys and NAACP Awards, her musical partnership with Burt Bacharach and Hal David, her many acting roles, and her famous family, can now add ‘Twitter Queen’ to her impressive bio. Because yes, it’s really her. Don’t come for Ms. Warwick unless she sends for you.
