Over the weekend some people across the pond felt the sudden urge to burn their houses to the ground. Why? Because when they walked into either their bedrooms, kitchens, washrooms and every other place you can think of, these creatures were staring right at them with their beady eyes:

So, what exactly are these things called? Apparently, they’re called Eratigena agrestises, a.k.a. “hobo spiders.” Although mostly found in Europe, they’ve also made their way to Canada as well. Yep, if you live in Alberta, British Columbia or Ontario, you better keep an eye out.
