When most people are asked a simple question like “what is the capital of Canada”, they would answer with a simple, one-word “Ottawa”.
But if you’re Donald Trump, chances are your answer would probably sound a little, well, different. Or at least, that’s what one Canadian kid seemed to think when he saw that very question on a test at school, and decided to have a little fun with it.
The answer reads:
“Of course I know the capital of Canada. It’s a great country. It’s really great. Everyone wants to know what the capital of Canada is. And you know what I tell them? I tell them, that we have a foolproof plan for naming the capital of Canada. And that’s why we’re going to be the best at naming the capital of Canada. #MakeCanadaGreatAgain.”
Sound a little familiar?
The person who posted the image on Reddit captioned it with “this is why I teach” and, as you can see, the student was awarded full marks for their answer. The post has so far received 2.4 million views, with many people drawing comparisons between the student’s answer and the way Trump responds to questions.
“Donald Trump answers a lot of questions like this,” one user on Reddit wrote. “The student used a trump card… well played,” posted another.
While other users have expressed concern that the student was awarded full marks for a wrong answer, we feel like this person definitely deserved some points for creativity.
