Strawberry fields aren’t the only things that are forever—Drake just got a tattoo that seems to be throwing some shade at The Beatles.
The Canadian rapper has been breaking records since July of last year when seven of his songs were in the top 10 of Billboards top 100.
In 2018, Drake was a feature on a Meek Mill track called “Going Bad”. In Drake’s verse he says, “I got more slaps than The Beatles” This was referencing the fact that he was coming close to beating the Fab Four’s chart records. Fun fact: The Beatles are at 34, and Drake just reached 35.
How did Drake celebrate? On August 12, he revealed a new tattoo on Instagram on his forearm that Beatles fans and Drake fans alike are not happy about. The tattoo shows the famous Abbey Road scene, where John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison are crossing the street—but it has a new addition. In Drake’s recreation of this scene, he’s leading the pack and waving back at the four of them—bye, Felicia style.

He’s stuck with it now, but it seems like Twitter agrees that Drake’s tattoo was disrespectful and narcissistic.

The Beatles broke up in 1970 and are STILL the highest selling artist of all time….process that.

At least Paul McCartney isn’t creeping on Millie Bobbie Brown. pic.twitter.com/abTXdC5YQV

However, what no one is talking about is how Madonna surpassed both The Beatles and Drake with 38 Billboard songs. We wonder what her tattoo will look like!
