Drake talks tragedy
It’s been nearly two weeks since two people were killed at an after-party for Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto nightclub Muzik, but the rapper has kept his feelings about the tragic events to himself. Until now.
The rapper posted a blog on the OVO website that was heartfelt as it touched on his love for his city and his condolences to the families of the two who died.
Ellen DeGeneres’ Teen Choice speech should empower young people everywhere
While there were many PSA-ish acceptance speeches during Sunday’s Teen Choice awards (like Britney Spears teling the audience, “Be fearless in your choices, and don’t be afraid to be yourself.”), it was Ellen’s words of empowerment that were just so darn wonderful. Because she’s so convincing but manages to make it genuine and funny, not preachy.
She also ended it with a sweet dedication to wife Portia de Rossi on their seventh anniversary so if you weren’t tearing up a little before…
Ben Affleck celebrated his birthday with the kids… and Jen!

Julia Roberts and Joan Baez are the latest to join Swifty’s squad
OK, not really but the two women were the latest celebrity guests to join Taylor on stage in Santa Clara, Calif.
The two legends came on during Swift’s performance of “Style,” conveniently enough, and they danced, shimmied and posed like only two women of their superstardom could. And the best part? It gave the parental chaperones in the audience two people with whom they could get on board.
The beard is back
They don’t call Prince Harry “Hot Harry” for nothing. It’s been years since we saw a grizzly Harry (when he returned from Antarctica) but he’s grown it out while in Africa. The African Conservation Experience posted new photos of the royal beard on Facebook where he posed with orphaned rhinos and some lucky, lucky humans.
