When you’re younger, birthdays are kind of a big deal, are they not? Especially if your parents spring for a party with lots of friends and gifts. If you’re Jewish, you’ll probably even get a bar or bat mitzvah when you’re 13, which is pretty much the biggest party ever (as it should be, given the stress of learning to read from the Torah).

We’re willing to bet that no matter how big of a celebration your birthday was, it pales in comparison to the one a lucky little New York girl had when Drake stopped by her bat mitzvah over the weekend.

Oh to have the money to hire Drake to play at your party, huh?

The Toronto rapper, who is also half-Jewish, came out to the Rainbow Room in New York on Saturday where he performed songs including “Hotline Bling” Fetty Wap’s “My Way,” and “Summer Sixteen,” during which time a bunch of tweens basically went wild. As you do when an international superstar stops by a local fete.

Met Drake last night 🙈🔥

No word on exactly how much the performer was paid for the performance, but we know how he prepped for it at least: “His way,” in great Canadian takeout food fashion.

Wonder if he’ll do Sweet Sixteens next.
