The Duchess of Cambridge has impressive style, so it’s about damn time she got to show off that style on the cover of a magazine. And not just any mag; we’re talking about the holy grail of fashion: Vogue U.K. Its June issue marks 100 years of British Vogue and not only is she the cover girl but she’s also featured in a 10-page spread, making it the first fashion magazine shoot she’s ever posed for.

Fitting, right?

No, really, that hat, those brows. Gah! And we can’t help but notice the absence of black eyeliner on the lower lids. It looks so good Kate! That’s a make-under to add to your daily routine for sure!

British photographer Josh Olins took the shots in the countryside of Norfolk, England, where she, husband Prince William, and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, live the majority of the time. And while her classic style is what everyone looks to, it’s the fact that she’s looking natural, casual, and effing gorgeous that’ll have people talking.

“The Duchess was delighted to play a part in celebrating the centenary of an institution that has given a platform to some of the most renowned photographers in this country’s history,” a spokesperson for the Duchess said. “She is incredibly grateful to the team at Vogue and at the NPG for asking her to take part.”

The photos are a collaboration between British Vogue and the National Portrait Gallery, of which Kate is patron. According to the Royal Family’s Facebook page, two of the photos are up for public viewing now in the gallery’s Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibit, while the centenary issue will be available for download and on newsstands on May 5.

From the Burberry coat and blouse on the cover (um, and where can we get that vintage hat??) to the red striped Petit Bateau tee in the other, she is simply stunning. And it should be mentioned that Kate is following in Princess Diana‘s footsteps, who covered the mag four times.

Now, excuse us as we count down the days until we can get a hard copy to drool over.
