The Jetsons just called, and they want their vacuum back. Seriously, it looks like Dyson took a page from the future when they created their super-intelligent robot vacuum. It’s sleek. It’s shiny. And best of all, it has 360-degree vision. Yes, your vacuum now has eyes, people.

Imagine this: You haven’t cleaned your floor in days — hey, you’re a busy person — but don’t worry, your Dyson 360 Eye vacuum cleaner is here to help. Since you have so many errands to run, all you have to do is pull out your smart phone and schedule your vacuum to clean everything up.

Other robot vacuum cleaners have been blindly pushing around your dirt for years, but not this cyclonic robot. Its 360-degree vision system allows the robot to build a detailed floor plan. It sees where it is, where it has been and where it is yet to clean. Damn. Just like that, you can say sayonara to that mess.

And sayonara is exactly what Dyson’s Japanese customers will be saying to their dirt in the spring of 2015. That’s when this futuristic vacuum is slated to make its debut in Japan — before anywhere else. Lucky folks, right?

Dyson’s known for their futuristic hand dryers and room fans, so we’re sure they’re not pulling our legs with this insane vacuum. After all, it did take 16 years and $47 million to make.

But don’t despair: Canadians will be able to get their hands on the Dyson 360 Eye vacuum in the fall of 2015.
