Sorry Gavin, but we’re completely obsessed with Gwen Stefani’s new relationship, and it seems like we aren’t the only ones. Not only did The Voice make everyone’s Valentine’s Day dreams come true by announcing that Stefani would return to the show after all, but that she’d be serving as the mentor on Blake Shelton’s team. Which means lots of opps to see the new couple together.

As it turns out, a certain daytime talk show host is just as into the coupling as we are.

On Wednesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, DeGeneres interviewed Stefani on everything from her “fall” during the Grammys’ live music video to her upcoming album release. Then, around the 3:15 minute mark she suddenly switched gears.

“So let’s talk about Blake,” she threw at Stefani, who immediately blushed and grinned ear-to-ear as the crowd cheered.

“I thought it would be a good idea not to talk about Blake, just to see what happened,” she replied, completely caught off guard but still giggling.

“Ok, let’s just look at pictures then,” DeGeneres countered, before sharing one of the two of them sharing a chair. “There weren’t enough chairs?”

The entire exchange is less than two minutes long but it’s completely cute. And more than obvious how into Shelton Stefani actually is. Our favourite part though? When the host asked Stefani how Blake proposed… that Stefani be his mentor.

“I got so much out of it,” Stefani tried to counter, by bringing the conversation to The Voice in general. But DeGeneres, whom Stefani called “good at her job” several times in the interview, was having none of it.

“You did.”

Yeah she did.
