Ellen totally tricked Ashley Graham into revealing the gender of her baby

When a celebrity is pregnant—heck, maybe when any woman is pregnant—there's a tendency to want answers to the same questions: "When are you due?" "How far along are you?" "Are you having a boy or a girl?" Up until now, Ashley Graham has been pretty open about her pregnancy with the exception of her baby's gender but now the world knows that too, thanks to Ellen DeGeneres.The model appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (weekdays at 3ET on CTV) where she opened about being "preg-nant." DeGeneres asked her the requisite question ("So when is the baby supposed to happen?"), to which Graham said sometime in January, and now that she's in her last trimester, it'll be her last trip before she delivers the baby. Ashley still has loads of energy, works out instead of naps (um, what??), but confessed that she's got what's widely known as pregnancy brain (or mommy brain if you ask Anne Hathaway), and has been struggling with it in a big way. Ashley's forgotten her phone number and she proceeded to tell a story of how she had photos of herself sent to what was supposed to be her number, but wasn't. "Someone sent back a thumbs up, and it wasn't me. So there's photos of me out and about in the world." Thankfully, it was nothing scandalous.Ellen then brought up Ashley's podcast, Pretty Big Deal, in which she plays a rapid-fire lightning round Q&A game with her guests. So Ellen figured she'd turn the tables on Ashley and make her answer the questions. And perhaps it was the pregnancy brain combined with no naps that resulted in Graham spilling some major news about her and Justin Ervin's baby. Because up until then, she had been referring to her unborn child as "it." Not anymore.

 Ashley, who might have the best laugh around, genuinely and hilariously blurted out that she's "going to be a mommy to a boy! I'm having a boy!" While she seemed excited to share the news, we do wonder if she was at all frustrated that she fell for Ellen's line of questioning since she seemed to surprise herself with her honest answer. Or perhaps she was sick of keeping it a secret and was pumped to tell the world. Either way, well done, Ellen.It was in August that Ashley and Justin announced their first child was on the way. "Nine years ago today, I married the love of my life,” Graham captioned the adorable Instagram reveal. "It has been the best journey with my favorite person in the world! Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY! Happy anniversary, @mrjustinervin. Life is about to get even better."Over the last few months, Graham has been letting her fans in on what her pregnancy's been like and much like she relayed to Ellen, it's been energetic, to say the least. Some of us don't work 80 hours in a week when we're not pregnant.

And because Ashley's a goddess who is constantly telling women that they should always love their bodies, whatever size and shape it's in, she's also been sharing all the changes her own body is going through, and while it's a journey and is taking some getting used to, she's embracing it.Now that we know when-ish she's due, we're counting down the weeks until we get a glimpse of Ashley and Justin's little dude. .
