Say it ain’t so! Lovebirds Emily Hampshire and Teddy Geiger have called off their engagement according to Page Six. The couple seemed very happy and thankful for all the congrats on their impending wedding when etalk caught up with them in late March at the Canadian Screen Awards. The duo stopped to chat about how it felt that well-wishers were so vocal about their union, with Hampshire saying she couldn’t get enough of it. “I love it! I love being congratulated for something that isn’t work-related.”

According to the source quoted by Page Six, the couple are no longer together and this isn’t just a break. Case in point—they’ve unfollowed each other on Instagram, the ultimate sign that this is serious especially for a couple who shared much of their lives together on social media.

Hampshire, 37, plays the deadpan Stevie in comedy gold Schitt’s Creek, started dating singer-songwriter Geiger, 30, in 2018 and announced that they were engaged two months later in a series of sweet and loving posts on their respective Instagram accounts.

Their reps have yet to confirm the split but the two had stopped posting on each other social accounts months ago and their last posed photos together were from the CSAs where Hampshire snagged a trophy for Best Supporting or Guest Actress and Schitt’s Creek walked away with a win for Best Comedy Series.
