Just because Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are officially husband and wife and there are other royal stories dominating the news does not mean we still can’t bask in the glory of their royal wedding. It was a spectacular event with royalty and celebrities in attendance, Eugenie’s dresses were stunning, Jack’s bumbling was charming, Prince Philip and Fergie didn’t throw down and there were all kinds of adorable kids there. Come on, that’s pretty perfect in our books.

Well, speaking of adorable kids, you all know Princess Charlotte. Will and Kate‘s middle child did her best to not steal the thunder from the bride and groom but with a face like this, it’s a tough ask.

She did her best to simply smile and wave, but even when she tried to twirl away and get to the business at hand, her impish side got the better of her.

But no one is immune to Charlotte’s cuteness — even the bride and groom on what is arguably a stressful day. The princess posted a pic on Instagram, thanking all those involved for making their big day so special, and celebrating a life of laughter.  And if the moment she shared is any indication, their future family life looks rosy indeed.

That must’ve been some joke. We wouldn’t be surprised if Charlotte was the palace clown, cracking up everyone from her parents to her great-grandparents to the guards. Not only does she charm the grown-ups (Eugenie and Jack can’t mask their looks of adoration) but she also gets the other kids laughing along (though Maud seems less than impressed). Charlotte’s personality is only going to shine brighter the older she gets.

Hmm, wonder if Charlotte and George will be offering their bridesmaid and pageboy services to a wedding sometime soon or if the kids finally get a break. For now, we’ll just have to enjoy these priceless moments.

Until the next nuptials. Cute, happy (well, happy-ish) kids for the win!
