The Alberta native is coming back to the small screen after almost a decade away and will star and executive-produce a murder mystery set 150 years in the future. In space.

Well, you’ve got our attention.

eOne, Bell Media and director Brad Peyton are joining forces for Albedo, a unique spin on a crime thriller that sees Evangeline Lilly play a detective named Vivien who is sent to the outer edges of the solar system to investigate a mysterious death on an isolated space station. With everyone on-board a suspect, what could go wrong?

The Lost star is coming back to TV for the eight-episode series that will be helmed by Peyton, who has directed Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in San Andreas and also wrote and directed episodes of the Jason Momoa series Frontier, so he knows a little something about bringing the action, and written by Max and Adam Reid, the duo behind the Amazon Prime series Sneaky Pete.

Lilly, of course, recently reprised her role as Hope van Dyne/Wasp for the box-office crushing Avengers: Endgame and famously donned some pointy ears to play Tauriel in the Hobbit movies. So, iconic.

Albedo is scheduled to begin pre-production this month and represents a partnership with Vudu in the U.S. and will be shown exclusively on Bell Media platforms in Canada.
