Céline Dion is so famous that we’ve never really considered what it would be like to hang out with her—her wedding was broadcast on TV like a royal for crying out loud!—but we got a little glimpse into the World of Dion by means of “Carpool Karaoke” this week when James Corden got lost in Vegas and enlisted Canada’s singing queen for some directions.

In short: every moment of Céline Dion’s life is karaoke and our role as regular people is to just sit down and watch her.

Before Corden even got to the first karaoke song, Céline had given him impromptu renditions of “My Heart Will Go On,” “I’m So Excited,” “I Drove All Night,” “Work” and “On the Radio,” prompted only by their opening conversation. Honestly, Céline Dion is probably the only person on this planet who could get away with holding a conversation like that but THAT’S WHAT MAKES US LOVE HER!

The Late Late Show also released a clip that didn’t make the final cut where Céline sang “All By Myself” alone in the car while James pumped gas. It is stirring to say the least.

Dion also proved YET AGAIN that she is the queen—nay, Supreme Ruler—of all things ~dramatique~ by giving the most rousing performance of “Baby Shark” known to mankind. Pardon us while we clip that 20 seconds of audio to play on loop.

In case you were wondering what Céline cares about most next to music, it’s her 10,000 (yes, TEN THOUSAND) pairs of shoes which she keeps in a Clueless-inspired warehouse closet with a digital search system. Does she need that many shoes? Absolutely—evident by the physical agony she appears to be in when James forces her to give away a few pairs.

To cap is all off, and because Céline is nothing if not fully self-aware of her own brand, she of course finished her karaoke set with her most instantly recognizable song of all time, “My Heart Will Go On,” in classic Céline style. That is, in the most over-the-top, over-produced, fully-costumed spectacular way possible. It’s likely the production costs for this portion of “Carpool Karaoke” were comparable to those of the original Titanic film (adjusted for inflation, of course).

We can’t get over how extra the entire performance was (from the moment she hopped into the car in her sparkly Glen plaid suit to the moment she dropped the Heart of the Ocean back to the depths from whence it came) and neither can the internet.
