Meghan and Harry’s wedding may have set the standard for one of the most anticipated weddings with their nuptials last year, but Marc Jacobs and Charly “Char” Defrancesco’s wedding is the ~fashion~ royal wedding of the year. Not only was the guest list almost as spectacular, the outfits weren’t constrained to tight royal standards (no frilly fascinators here!) so we got couture-worthy looks from the runway’s best like Naomi Campbell and the Hadid sisters.

Gigi and Bella looked super chic in complimentary menswear with Gigi rocking a beige suit with a sheer sparkly top and a black sable fedora. Bella went a little more dapper with black wide-legged pants and a vintage-looking satin bustier.

At some point, Gigi also made a secret trip to the kitchen to scam some sliders with Defrancesco. Cheers!

“So happy to celebrate your marriage and love last night, it is so beautiful to see two people truly complete each other,” Gigi wrote on Instagram. “Love you both so much.”

Campbell had all the love for Jacobs and Defrancesco too, calling their union, “the wedding of the year” in an post showcasing her sparkly, black polka-dot Balmain ensemble. She also shared a photo of the couple’s FIVE TIER wedding cake.

“BEST WEDDING EVER !!” she captioned. “ETERNAL HAPPINESS I LOVE YOU BOTH MY CHOSEN FAMILY.”

In all fairness, that would also be our reaction to a cake that big.

Kate Moss also attended the festivities with her daughter, Lila. Moss’s gown was a simple-yet-fashionable burgundy Janice Wainwright maxi dress while Lila went the other direction in a sparkly gold mini.

And the models’ wedding style doesn’t end there. Emily Ratajkowski reminded us not to sleep on yellow going into wedding season with a sleek marigold Saks Potts midi-gown with plunging neckline. In her post, the model-actress wished the newlyweds “as much joy as you brought us last night.”

Not to be outdone at his own wedding, Jacobs meticulously documented his and Defrancesco’s outfits right down to the art deco penguin pins the two wore, which were gifted to them by design director and friend Fabio Zambernardi.

“Penguins have only one partner and mate for life,” Marc wrote. “A great example of faithfulness and fidelity.”

Jacobs and Defrancesco got engaged a year ago after Marc proposed on Char’s birthday with a flashmob in a Chipotle. With a proposal that extra, we can only imagine what the wedding was like (according to Instagram, there was an elaborate cabaret dance number to reveal the cake and all guests were gifted a sweet “Don’t float away” otter sweater).
