You get on a plane and it’s the same old drill. You stow away your carry-on and put your bag underneath the seat in front of you, then the flight attendants go up and down the aisles, making sure you’ve done everything correctly while you flip through the in-flight magazine. Yawn.

If only all flight attendants were more like AirAsia’s Assraf Nasir. In a video that’s gone viral, Nasir recreates Britney Spears’ “Toxic” video, in which she plays a seductive member of the cabin crew of Toxic Airlines, and we’re not sure what’s more flawless, his lip-syncing or his moves.

It’s amazing from the get-go. In the video, he starts out by sitting down in his seat, holding a phone to his ear — just like Brit did back in 2004. And although he certainly has Brit’s fierce attitude, the video lacks a futuristic outfit and a jaunty hat.

Yet, the level of sheer confidence that he dances with is what we should all aspire to. From the moment Nasir puts the phone down and makes his way down the aisle with the food and drink cart, all while twirling, strutting, hair-flipping and booty-popping — it’s as if Brit’s his spirit animal.

Spears has yet to acknowledge the video, which has been retweeted more than 5,800 times and liked over 6,000 times since it hit Twitter last week. But given that Brit is so active on social media, it’ll probably get her attention soon.

The only other thing this video needs? An actual audience (and maybe even some backup flight attendants). Nasir did his lip sync on an empty plane, but how much better would it be if there were passengers in the plane to participate in the video?

Who knows, this could be the beautiful beginning of in-flight lip sync battles.
