Yeah, sure, Canadians are pretty inventive with their French fries. Our glorious creation, poutine, smothers them with gravy and cheese curds.

But did you know that there are many, many ways to prep fries around the world? And some of them are just plain out there. In Vietnam, you eat sugar with your fries; in Peru, you make salchipapas, which is basically fries strewn with pieces of hot dog; and in the Netherlands, things get cuckoo-bananas when they douse their fries in peanut sauce, mayo and onions. Like, a LOT of peanut sauce.
