So no one told you life was gonna be this way … for 20 whole years? The one that started it all, also known as Friends, turns two decades old on Sept. 22, and that news has left many people wanting to celebrate with an over-sized cup of coffee or two and wishes for a reunion. We’re looking at you, Jimmy Kimmel.

Some fans are taking it even further, and it’s all thanks to a special pop-up shop that’s opened in the series’ hometown of New York. (And here you thought going to Monk’s dinner was exciting.) Central Perk is back up and running–at least until Oct. 18 thanks to a special promotion by Warner Bros. and Eight O’Clock Coffee. Avid fans can stop by and get their cup of joe, all the while participating in special events like “Smelly Cat” singalongs, contests and giveaways.

If you’re really lucky, you might also spot a familiar face.

Gunther, aka James Michael Tyler, the barista who saw our favourite characters through some of the biggest trials and tribulations of their lives (all the while throwing in a snappy comment or two), has been on hand to help with the festivities. He was there on Tuesday for the shop’s big launch, which attracted massive lines and long waits. Some fans donned special t-shirts and signs to help commemorate the launch, while others just waited for their chance to sit on the signature over-sized couch.

It was so busy, we’re surprised it didn’t turn into a “The One With the Blackout”-type situation. Especially as everyone scrambled for a seat on the signature over-sized couch. Take a look for yourself:
