The frigid weather across Canada has left many of us dreaming of a beach vacation, and while a trip to a warmer climate might not be in the cards right now, you can still get a taste of the tropics by trying out Bahamian cuisine.

According to Chef Raquel Fox, Bahamian cooking is a melting pot of cuisines coming together. It’s a fusion of Latin America, Britain and Africa. There’s also a lot of citrus and whole lot of rum!
