Craving new beauty products but working on bulking up your change purse?

New sample site sale Scarlet & Julia is offering something most of those other flash sales sites don’t: beauty products. And that’s all they do. The sale site features a mix of brands you know and covet along with high-end European brands you’ve never heard of but will definitely want to add to your beauty regime.

The site is members-only but joining up is just a matter of filling out a quick form. New deals launch each Thursday and each sale lasts a week. As if getting bargain beauty products isn’t enough of a deal, Scarlet & Julia donate one per cent of their sales to Look Good, Feel Better, which helps women living with cancer.

Worried about more stuff cluttering your inbox? You shouldn’t. The site promises only two newsletters a week. Plus, members score points for signing up, inviting friends and making purchases. Those points can be used towards purchase discounts or shipping costs.

The Montreal site is owned by beauty industry vet Joël Roussin, who previously served as executive vice president of Prestilux — the company behind Bioderma, Decléor and a selection of celebrity fragrances including Rihanna and Jay Z. He wanted to create a shopping resource for every woman. The name Scarlet & Julia is based on two personality types: Scarlet, the glamorous Marilyn Monroe-type and Julia, the down-to-earth shopper who always has a pink lip gloss on hand.

But of course best of all, you’re looking at discounts of up to 50 per cent off high-end products like lash lengtheners, prestige skincare and colour cosmetics. The site has already included Cargo Cosmetics, Lise Watier, Thierry Mugler and Freeze 24/7. You may never need to leave your house again. Except to show off your gorgeous new products, of course.
