So we all know that temporary tattoos have been around for a long time–hey, we covered our bodies with numerous butterfly and flower tattoos back in the day–but, admittedly, the ones available for adults aren’t all too cute.
Yes, if you’re a commitment phobe who can’t decide between getting a mini map of the world on your wrist or a funky geometric design across your thigh or a DNA molecule on the back of your neck, you’d think you were out of luck. And, for the most part, that would be true…at least until now.
Toronto company Inkbox has been churning out elaborate temporary tattoos for the last little while and we have to admit that we’re a little obsessed. Their tattoos (including the mini world map, geometric designs and DNA!) last for two weeks, are made from an organic, fruit-based formula and take just 15 minutes to apply. According to Inkbox, “the formula looks and feels identical to a traditional tattoo but fades naturally as the skin exfoliates.” Yeah, we’re definitely on-board.
The company has partnered with 12 artists so there’s a very high likelihood that you’ll be able to find at least one design that you’re going to want to nab a.s.a.p.
Who it’s for:
Commitment phobes who want to adorn their bodies with new art every two weeks.
Prices range from $25 to $33 (not including taxes and shipping).
