Want to know who is one of the nicest celebs around? We’ll give you a couple of hints: she’s gorgeous, the star of her own TV series, and has sometimes been publicly confused with America Ferrera. That’s right, we’re talking about Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez, who is continuing to collect friends faster than Taylor Swift. For pretty obvious reasons.

You know, like her tear-inducing Golden Globe acceptance speech back in 2015. Or the fact that she’s looking into starting an education charity with her sisters and has spoken out against bullying. Never mind the fact that she’s become an advocate for Latino actresses in Hollywood.

Well, now there’s a whole new reason to deem Rodriguez the Queen of Nice, and that’s because she’s offered to lend her Golden Globes dress to one lucky teenager for prom.

It all started when a user named Jessica Casanova tweeted about how she’d love to wear the frock to her own high school milestone.

Less than two hours later, Rodriguez took to Twitter to respond. As it turns out she didn’t own the Zac Posen dress that she wore to the Globes this year, but she has a perfectly good Badgley Mischka dress in her closet that she seems more than happy to lend out.

Obviously it took less than a minute for the teen to reply with her hometown of Buffalo, NY, and the two began making arrangements.

And that is how Rodriguez made a dream happen in less than five hours. No word on when Casanova’s actual prom is, but we’re betting she will be sharing a pic on social media as soon as she’s all dolled up and ready to go.

In the meantime, it seems this dress could become the equivalent of the jeans from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (a movie starring America Ferrera, not Rodriguez). When another fan reached out, suggesting that Rodriguez begin loaning out the frock to girls all over the country for their proms, the actress practically melted.

That’s Rodriguez for you – accidentally building her squad one prom dress at a time.
