When Canadian bride Simran Malhotra sat down to watch her groom perform a song for her at their wedding, she couldn’t believe her ears. Malhotra wasn’t shocked by his piano skills or his voice. Instead, she broke down into tears because he sang a popular Bollywood song (“Tum Hi Ho“) in Hindi.

You see, Malhotra is a Torontonian of Indian descent, while her husband Frank Gregoire is a French Quebecer who doesn’t know a lick of Hindi. According to the Huffington Post Canada, Gregoire spent six weeks learning the lyrics and the chords so he could perform the song (which means “It’s Only You” in English) at their Sikh and Christian interfaith wedding in Baltimore, Maryland.

The whole thing is so moving and you’re honestly going to get choked up — whether you understand Hindi or not. Grab a box of Kleenex and get to watching the video above.
