Rihanna made a huge stink back in May when the folks at Instagram took down some of her photos because they were deemed inappropriate. She and Instagram went on a break and unlike some celebs who quit social media sites and are back within days, RiRi went six long months without posting anything. Until this past weekend.
Maybe it was the cold sweats, the shakes, the need to find just the right filter but the singer just couldn’t take it anymore and has made her glorious return to Instagram. Her first pic was a selfie (naturally) with the caption, “Hellurrr #badgalback” — then proceeded to go on a posting frenzy, adding 10 more pics. Ahh. All is right with the world.
Chelsea Handler vs. Instagram
Speaking of inappropriate photos, Handler is the latest star to slam Instagram, after the site removed a topless photo she posted of herself. OK, so she was on a horse, mocking that photo of Vladimir Putin (come on, you know the one) but still. At least she had a helmet on. This all went down on Friday and she reportedly reposted it, writing, “If Instagram takes this down again, you’re saying Vladimir Putin has more 1st amendment rights than me. Talk to your bosses.” They did, we presume, and it was removed once again. Her final say on the matter: “If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it’s ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?”

Stevie Wonder’s swimmers never cease
Congratulations to the singing superstar. At the ripe ol’ age of 64, Wonder is going to be a dad again. And again. And again.
Page Six is reporting that Wonder is expecting triplets with his girlfriend, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy, who also gave birth to their first child together last year — who also happened to be his eighth kid. So when Stevie’s ninth, 10th and 11th kids are born, that’ll make the age range of his children 1 to 40. Amazing.
Where is Amanda Bynes?
Despite Bynes being involuntarily admitted into a psychiatric facility, she was somehow released (even though a judge believed she needed to remain there for another month) and seen wandering around Los Angeles. And considering the last time she was seen wandering around city streets (previously those of New York), things weren’t good. Her parents still have conservatorship over Amanda’s finances and medical care, and will continue to until February, but then what? The girl clearly needs help, long-term help but if she continues to fight her family, who knows what will happen.
Emma Watson dedicates award to the last thing you’d expect her to
Aw, Emma. We can’t help but adore her. Aside from her brains, beauty, class and general awesomeness, she also knows how to accept an award. She was on-hand to accept the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts ceremony in L.A. but her speech wasn’t the typical long, drawn-out list of names most people read. Instead, the actress shared a story about growing up in the film industry and the death of her beloved pet hamster. We’ll just let you see for yourself and you’ll love her even more. RIP, Millie.
