So what if his eponymous sitcom wrapped in 1998? Seinfeld is like a fine wine, it gets better with age and is totally cool to be consumed midday.
So, just how much does the highest paid comedian take home in a year? According to the report, that’s $36 million US between June 2014 and June 2015.
The 61-year-old comedian hasn’t been coasting—though with a newly signed, $160 million deal giving the streaming service Hulu rights to Seinfeld, he certainly could afford to coast a bit. His successful web series Comedians in Cars getting Coffee is entering its sixth season, and he continues to do stand-up tours.
Second on the list was Hollywood flavour of the year Kevin Hart, who earned $28.5 million last year. Not bad, Hart, but come back in 30 years when you’re ready for the Big Time.
