We can’t get enough of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, simple as that. We’ve seen her Instagram page, and photos of them canoodling at awards shows, and the way they’ve talked lovingly about the other in interviews, sure, but we wanted more! And because they are the special couple that they are, it’s like they heard our pleas and gave us more. SO MUCH MORE.
The couple performed their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” for the first time ever on Monday’s episode of The Voice and proved they not only have romantic chemistry but they sizzle together musically as well.
After the performance, Shelton told People magazine, “I guess I’m nervous in a new kind of way. I’m excited because this is a song Gwen and I feel so close to for obvious reasons. It’s as brutally honest and straightforward as you can be in a love song.”
Gah! Their performance is filled with sweet, intimate moments, not to mention the lyrics where they’re basically baring their souls, and you kind of feel like maybe you should give them their privacy and look away — but you can’t NOT look! They barely broke eye contact, staring at each other so sweetly while they sang, they were just so in the moment. And Blake mouthing along the words while Gwen’s singing and her smile in return, it’s all just so freaking adorable.
