Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may no longer be co-judges on The Voice but that doesn’t mean their relationships isn’t still going strong. In fact, this past weekend, despite being apart, they couldn’t have been more together. Gwen was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live in NYC, while Blake was at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas but damn if they don’t make long distance work!

Stefani did a little number with host Peter Dinklage, it was epic, and we’re not the only ones who thought so.

Space Pants: Officially endorsed by Gwen Stefani.

Posted by Saturday Night Live on Saturday, April 2, 2016

They’re not just endorsed by Gwen but by Blake, who had a little sexy request for his girlfriend.

A little odd that he asked for the space pants, not the space shorts, but Stefani was accommodating (albeit a tad confused) about his ask.

Meanwhile, in case you were busy watching the JUNO Awards, another awards show was going on in Las Vegas. The ACMs were being handed out and Shelton helped open the show with his new song. It could not have been any more awkward. Actually, if Gwen was with him, THAT would’ve been more awkward… but we digress.

Blake’s latest single “Came Here to Forget” is rumoured to be about our his beloved Gwen. With lyrics like “Girl getting over him and I’m getting over her/ The eyes have it made, ain’t gotta say a word/ Misery loves company, that’s why it’s you and me,” Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert (yes, she was right there!) had to be feeling a little twitchy in her seat. But at least she had her own boyfriend, country singer Anderson East, by her side.

Adorably enough, Gwen sang her own love songs, “Make Me Like You” and “Misery,” — both reportedly/presumably/totally about Blake (of course!) — the night before on SNL, so it’s clear they’re inspiring each other in so many ways.

If they’re this perfect and adorable when they’re apart, we can only imagine (and trust us, we do) what they’re like together.
