Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are continuing to give us couple goals. The musical pair have just dropped the video for their third duet, this time teaming up on the love song “Nobody But You.” Part of Shelton’s 2019 compilation album Fully Loaded: God’s Country, the new song has Shelton and Stefani clearly declaring their love for one another over a country-pop beat. The video is a mash-up of the pair’s differing styles. Shelton-inspired shots of the happy couple lounging on a couch, sharing fries at the bowling alley and posing near a tranquil river are interspliced with scenes of Stefani dancing in a ballgown and giving fans all the glam we love from the pop superstar. The couple filmed what looks like home video, including afternoon drives in Shelton’s truck, which gets the No Doubt frontwoman’s creative makeover when it’s lit up in a technicolor scene.
“Nobody But You” was penned by Songland writer Shane McNally, who first brought it to Shelton’s attention. "This was one of those songs where the more I heard it, the more I fell in love with it," Shelton said according to iHeartRadio. "I also realized how important it is for me and where I am in my life, and I think that's why Shane was trying to get it to me. It fits my story," he added. "I was about to go in and record when I decided that it needed Gwen on it- because it is our song. I think it's magic."The new duet marks the third time the couple have hit the studio together. The pair first performed together on “Go Ahead And Break My Heart” from Shelton’s 2016 album If I’m Honest. Working together a year later, they sang the title track to Gwen Stefani’s 2017 holiday album You Make It Feel Like Christmas.[video_embed id='5363354676001']RELATED: Gwen Stefani posts Blake Shelton's throwback mullet pic[/video_embed]Stefani and Shelton first met in 2014 while they were both coaches on The Voice. The pair began dating a year later after separating from their then-spouses. Stefani returned to The Voice in 2019 following the exit of original host Adam Levine, with the couple delivering no shortage of super sweet, super cute #couplegoals moments on the reality show. They may be one of the most unlikely pairs in the music industry, but Stefani and Shelton continue to prove you can be a little bit rock and roll and a little bit country and still make it work.
