There’s no stopping Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s love story from continuing happily ever after — and if you think a couple of the royal’s exes are going to ruin that, think again. As the royal wedding rapidly approaches (we’re at two and a half months and counting, people!), many are wondering who is going to score an invite to what will easily be the wedding of the year. Turns out, Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas, longtime and long-ago ex-girlfriends of Harry, have apparently made the cut.

“Harry has stayed good friends with Chelsy and Cressida, so they will be there,” a friend of Harry’s told the Daily Mail. “He made sure there were no hard feelings when they split up. I don’t think Meghan will mind.”

In case you need a refresher, Harry and Chelsy were on and off for seven years, from 2004 to 2010, while Harry and Cressie dated from May 2012 to April 2014. Both women knew what they were getting into with Harry and the royal life simply wasn’t for them. Whether the respective breakups were mutual or one-sided, doesn’t matter, at this point. It all seems to have worked out for the best, for everyone.

But former flames at royal weddings is nothing new. Prince William and Duchess Kate each had exes attend their wedding, Camilla was there for Charles and Diana’s ceremony, and when Camilla wed Charles years later, her ex, Andrew Parker Bowles, was in attendance.

There is one person who definitely won’t be attending: Markle’s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, who is working on a TV show that is essentially about Meghan and Harry. Ugh. Seems what works for the British royal family doesn’t apply to Americans and their petty exes.

But back to Harry’s exes and whether or not they will RSVP big, fat yeses. Chelsy for sure would go. Cressida, on the other hand? She’s up in the air. While Harry and Chelsy have remained friends throughout the years, Harry and Cressida are more friendly. Not the same. But since they run in the same social circles it wouldn’t be too surprising if she attended. For both ladies, it’s not like it’s going to stir up any ill will towards the groom. Chelsy and Cressida, both of whom hated all the attention that came with dating Harry, will probably look at the spectacle of it all and thank whatever god they pray to that they dodged that royal bullet. But let’s be serious; of course they’ll attend. It’s THE can’t-miss event of the year.
