Reality TV show contestant, singer, songwriter, actor and now executive producer? Seems like the only thing this guy can’t do is dance (trust us). This week it was announced that Harry Styles is executive producing a CBS sitcom with his friend and mentor Ben Winston loosely based on the time the two lived together after One Direction won The X Factor. Go figure.

The series is called Happy Together and stars Damon Wayans Jr. (of New Girl and Let’s be Cops fame) and Amber Stevens West (22 Jump Street) as a totally normal, verging-on-boring suburban couple that gets pulled into a young popstar’s (played by Australian model Felix Mallard) drama when he comes to live with them while hiding out from paparazzi.

When One Direction first made it big, Styles moved in with Winston and his wife in suburban London to avoid the craziness of popstar life. When asked to comment, a CBS representative said that “although the series is inspired by when Ben and Harry lived together, that’s where the reality ends. The show is not based on real-life experiences and characters.” So don’t read too much into whatever TV-Harry, sorry — Cooper James — does.

Reaction to the premise and promo was mixed with some die-hard Directioners (yes, those still exist) getting pumped for a Styles-produced show and other non-Directioners just asking, “why?”

Whether you’re excited about the new show or repulsed by the idea, there’s one observation that seemed objective, but sent Directioners into a frenzy. Someone noted that Felix Mallard looks strikingly similar to Harry Styles. We see it. Especially with the hair and the skinny jeans. In fact, if we saw one of them walking down the street, we wouldn’t necessarily be able to tell which one it was.

What this poor Twitter-user didn’t count on was a bunch of Styles fans clapping back that OBVIOUSLY Mallard looks NOTHING like Harry Styles. Whoa.

So what do you think, internet?
