Now this can’t be right.

A lobsterman in Maine pulled in quite the catch on Saturday. As Jay LaPlante was sorting through traps full of lobsters with his daughter, he noticed something strange tucked away inside.

Staring him right in the face was an extremely rare blue lobster. The odds of catching one are about one in two million.

So naturally, they cooked it. Just kidding! The story has a happy ending for ol’ bluey. LaPlante’s daughter named it Skylar and they donated the rare critter to the Maine State Aquarium, where it’ll be far away from anyone’s dinner table.
