When it comes to sports there are always fanatics, but fans of World Cup soccer are a whole different breed. They live and breathe it for an entire month, cover their cars with flags of their countries, wake up early — or skip out of work and school entirely — to watch games, cry in frustration when their team loses and even cause fake earthquakes when their team wins in an upset.
So when a soccer fan had to work late during England’s opening match against Tunisia and couldn’t get home in time to catch it live, he asked his girlfriend to keep him updated. Though this probably wasn’t what he was expecting.

As play went on, the young woman’s updates got even more unique — though she maintained the hair theme throughout. In the end, England won the game 2-1 but we think it’s safe to say she’s the real winner here.
Her tweet has since gone viral and she’s garnered quite a few fans herself.
This is excellent commentary. Please continue. I see no issues here.

England plays Panama on Sunday but sadly, the #HairCup queen will be unable to tweet about the game as she’ll be travelling herself. Hmm, wonder if if her boyfriend’s updates will be better than hers?
