Most of us can agree that Daniel Craig is one of (if not the) best actors to ever play James Bond. He’s made three solid 007 flicks with a fourth, Spectre, to be released on November 6th.
We also love the fact that he is still holds the role. Unfortunately, he’s not as thrilled about it as we are. And that’s an understatement.
In a recent interview, Craig revealed that he is sick and tired of playing our favourite super spy. He confessed that the only reason he reprised his role as Bond for Spectre was because he was contracted to do so. He said that playing 007 again is pretty much the last thing he wants to do.
“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” said Craig. “I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”
Craig made sure to accentuate the fact that he has no passion to be 007 anymore by stating that the only reason he would do it again would be “for the money.”
At least we get to enjoy him as Bond one last time next month. We’ll miss you, Mr. Craig.
