It’s been a few weeks since Kanye West was taken to hospital after a psychiatric emergency at his trainer’s home… He was released over a week later and managed to keep a low profile for 12 whole days. Then on Tuesday, all hell broke loose when he was spotted arriving at Trump Tower in NYC for a meeting with president-elect Donald Trump. And while Kanye was recently treated for a nervous breakdown, Americans everywhere may have just suffered one themselves.

No one knows exactly what went down, but Kanye gave a preview leading up to the meeting.

And we’re hoping that’s the case. But with both Trump and West, is anything ever this clear cut? Though it must be wonderful to have a “direct line of communication” with the next president, particularly a man who is so busy he cancels press conferences and has no time to attend intelligence briefings.

This probably isn’t what Kim wanted Kanye doing after his release. And it’s kind of shocking that she is the one who has managed to stay out of the spotlight and, instead, she and mom Kris Jenner sent Kris’ boyfriend Corey Gamble to keep an eye on Kanye.

Aw, how miserable (and slightly terrified) does poor Corey look, being tasked with this nightmare?

The meeting was short, and afterwards, Donald walked Kanye back down to the lobby to greet reporters. When asked what they talked about, Trump said, “life” with his longtime friend. West didn’t say anything except, “I just want to take a picture right now.” Sure? Guess what’s said between a president-elect and a superstar rapper should stay between them. And Ivanka, who was also there. Of course.

Or maybe Kanye wanted to talk about dressing Melania at the inauguration. Or perhaps he just wanted Donald’s autograph.

Whatever the two men chatted about in their meeting, we may never know. But it seems Trump’s win might have West believing he has a shot — though he’s giving Donald the benefit of the doubt and predicting eight long years of Trump in office.

Yes, Corey, we feel your pain more than ever.
