What’s that you say? You’ve been known to enjoy a penis from time to time? Good on ya, sister. Take what’s yours. But what makes a dude’s dong beautiful? Well, one study from the Journal of Sexual Medicine reveals just that, based on observations from 105 women, ages 16 to 45. Careful, we’re about to explode with findings:
Length Doesn’t Matter
According to the study, respondents thought a penis’ cosmetic appearance was much more important than length. So, in less clinical terms, your average Tom, Dick or Harry can be packing something short, and as long as it’s cute and flirty, women are less likely to be upset about it.
Foreskins: Good and Sometimes Not Normal
Women don’t value a foreskin over a circumcised penis in most cases, but when it came to “genitals with more proximal hypospadias,” respondents viewed the penises as “significantly less normal.”
Pubic Hair Better Be Pretty
The second-most important qualification for a beautiful penis (coming after overall cosmetic appearance) was the appearance of pubic hair. Women don’t want a shaved peen, apparently. But they do want that bush to look like a decorative topiary.
A Penis Can Lean How It Wants To
Y’know how you hear about horror stories from women who say he “leaned to the left” or “leaned to the right”? Well, according to this study, it’s really not that big of a deal. “Importance of position and shape of meatus” was valued incredibly low.
Penis Beauty is Skin Deep
Penises don’t have a personality, and they can’t fake one by putting on a jazzy hat or wearing a paisley dinner jacket. So when it comes to their beauty, the look is where it’s at. And women value appearance more than anything, but specifically the “appearance of scrotum,” the “shape of glans” and the “importance of penile skin.”
